Since 2006, Pollet and Genesan have been working together to bring innovative and sustainable cleaning solutions to the United States. Genesan is based in Portland, Maine, and is the sole importer of Pollet products for the United States.
Together, they have succeeded in getting a wide variety of the best cleaning products for commercial cleaning to the American markets.
Over the past 15 years, the partnership between Pollet and Genesan has built and grown a network of premium regional distributors driven by the same passion for providing innovative, high-performance, and sustainable cleaning.
The Genesan company is characterized by excellent management and dedication to providing the best cleaning products, equipment, training, and support to their various distribution partners and ultimately to customers. For that reason, they are delighted to join Pollet in providing state-of-the-art cleaning products.
A sustainable cleaning partnership
Pollet and Genesan are committed to marketing only products considered superior in performance and value and meet or exceed rigorous third-party environmental testing. Both are commercial cleaning product companies that believe strongly in achieving thorough cleaning without compromising the health of the user, building occupants, or the environment.
This action is fully supported by Pollet’s commitment to ongoing research and development, especially concerning green cleaning products and probiotic and enzymatic cleaners. For that reason, most of Genesan’s products meet Green Seal, UL Ecologo, and EU Ecolabel environmental and safety standards. Also, have several have been certified as bio-based by the USDA.
In addition, Genesan joined Pollet to reduce its carbon footprint. Together, we ensure that the manufacture of all our cleaning products is carbon neutral.
We also offset all the carbon generated in the transatlantic transportation of our products from manufacturing to distribution in the United States.
We have been able to do this work by supporting the CO2 Logic program, an offsetting carbon group dedicated to helping organizations seeking to reduce their carbon footprint around the world.
The Linpol Story
How did Genesan and Pollet come together?
It all started with Linpol, one of the best eco floor cleaners available on the U.S. market. In 2006, Belgian cleaning solutions manufacturer Pollet traveled to the United States to meet with a large local supermarket chain. Pollet planned to sell its products directly to the supermarket chain. However, the U.S. branch of the grocery store chain refused, their policy being to purchase cleaning products only through their distributors.
Linpol Green‘s current supplier was Genesan’s sister company, Clean-O-Rama, so Pollet contacted them. This made it possible to arrange a meeting between Genesan and Pollet representatives.
Next, the Genesan team visited Pollet’s factory in Belgium, and some European grocery stores that successfully used Linpol Green. The Linpol technology turned out to be much more advanced than the traditional Genesan products, so they were delighted!
More than 15 years have passed since then. Genesan has succeeded in treating all types of floors, perfecting its processes, simplifying the cleaning program, and helping to solve customers’ problems. This way has solved the issues that traditional commercial floor cleaning products have not solved. Many professional floor cleaning products can give your floors great results. Still, none are as simple, environmentally friendly, efficient, and economical as the Linpol Floorcare program.
